As a small touring theatre company, we operate with minimal staff and all of our projects are produced with part-time independent contracted artists.

Our Staff

Georgina Bard (she/her)

Founding Artistic Director

Georgina Bard founded Beacon Theatre Productions in 2011 to provide free and affordable  theatre productions for people who often do not have access to live theatre. She loves to inspire others by amplifying stories about real people from the past that encourage hope for a better future. She is a theatre director, playwright, dramaturg, teaching artist and community engagement facilitator.

Jen Jaynes (she/her)

Board President | Artistic Associate

Jen Jaynes is a Philadelphia area theatre artist, teacher, and administrator. She has been involved with BTP since 2014 in various capacities such as Managing Director, playwright, actor, and designer. She has her Masters in Theatre from Villanova University where she is currently an adjunct professor. Her additional affiliations include Without A Cue Productions, Sandy Run Middle School, MacGuffin Theatre & Film Company, and The Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center of Philadelphia. (

Doriane Feinstein (she/they)

Executive Assistant to the Artistic Director

Doriane Feinstein is a playwright, improviser, performing artist, photographer, and dramaturg based in Philadelphia. They are passionate about using theatre as a tool to educate others to challenge the cis/heteronormative/white/patriarchal status quo.
