AUDITION NOTICE

CASTING FOR: Under the Bonnet by Shelli Pentimall Bookler:

An historical drama presented by Beacon Theatre Productions, Philadelphia

ROLES:
Lucretia Mott, Female Identifying, Caucasian, spans ages 17-80s
- Quaker, preacher & teacher, abolitionist, women's rights activist, and social reformer. 

James Mott, Male Identifying, Caucasian, spans ages 18-80s
- Quaker, teacher, merchant, abolitionist 


Frederick Douglass, Male Identifying, Person of Color, 40-60s
- Well known social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman.

PERFORMANCE DATES:
Touring production. 11 scheduled performances between February 15th through April 22nd, 2020  - varied dates, locations, and times in the Philadelphia area – most performances are on weekday evenings and weekends plus two weekday performances

REHEARSALS:
Approx. 3 x per week (will be scheduled considering actor availability)


AUDITIONS:
By appointment on Saturday, Dec. 7th from 2 to 4pm and Tuesday, Dec. 10th from 7 to 9pm at 2nd Baptist Church of Germantown – 6459 Germantown Ave. Phila. 19119. If interested please email resumé and head shot and request an appointment time: casting@beacontheatreproductions.org
